Cornwall Based, Not Cornwall Bound
Adam Drake Studio is based in Cornwall, and most projects are shot right here: on location along the coast, in towns and villages across the county, or in a client’s own venue or workplace. That local base means faster turnarounds, lower travel costs passed on to a client, and the kind of location knowledge that only comes from actually living somewhere.
It doesn’t mean projects are limited to Cornwall. Adam regularly travels for work across the South West and beyond, including projects for an international broadcaster and a major national gallery that reached well outside the county. If a project makes sense for a Cornwall-based studio to take on, distance on its own is rarely the reason to say no.
Cornwall & The South West
The heart of the studio’s work: Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, covering everything from Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, St Ives, Penzance and St Austell in Cornwall, through to Plymouth and Exeter in Devon, and on into Somerset and Dorset. A single-day shoot within this area rarely requires staying over, keeping logistics simple and the schedule easy to plan around.
Further Afield
Beyond the South West, Adam travels for the right project: London and other UK cities, or further still, depending on the brief. Past work has included projects for national organisations shot well outside Cornwall. If you’re outside the core coverage area above, get in touch and describe the project. Distance is factored into a quote, not treated as a reason to turn work away.
